Quarry wins CAMP B2B Marketer of the Year Award

St. Jacobs, ON, November 9, 2016 – Quarry has been awarded the inaugural 2016 Canadian Association of Marketing Professionals (CAMP) B2B Marketer of the Year Award for its #KeynoteInks initiative.
“Quarry is a modern marketing firm. So we’d better prove it when we market ourselves,” says Richard Hill, Managing Director, Demand Generation for Quarry, who was on hand to accept the award.
“Great marketing creates memorable experiences that add real value. That’s what #KeynoteInks is all about. And it’s created a lot of impact for the Quarry brand,” Hill says. “We’re thrilled the CAMP Award judges recognized this concept as B2B best-in-class.”
The CAMP Awards recognize marketing excellence nationwide across 12 categories. This is the first year an award has been given for B2B Marketing.
“This was not an easy award to win,” said CAMP CEO Nadine Evans. “B2B is becoming much more sophisticated, and we received a high volume of entries from some very talented marketers.”
The award comes hot on the heels of Quarry’s recent BMA B2 Agency of the Year Finalist nomination, and its BMA B2 Agency Promotion Award win in Chicago earlier this year.
The #KeynoteInks initiative saw Quarry team up with “Graphic Recorder,” Kelly Kingman of Kingman Ink, to create, in real-time, giant visual summaries of top talks at B2B conferences throughout North America. Hill describes it as “part visual content marketing, part event hacking and all about social media amplification. It’s allowed our brand to earn greater ROI with our investment at some of North America’s largest B2B marketing conferences.”
Within the first three days of launching, #KeynoteInks generated the equivalent of three months’ worth of social media mentions for @Quarry, and reached nearly half a million Twitter users.
